Golf tournament benefits Baby Basics of NEA

The first annual Baby Basics of NEA Golf Scramble was held Friday, Aug. 12, at the Big Lake Country Club in Manila. Nineteen three-man teams participated and everyone enjoyed the scramble.

"The weather was perfect and we are so thankful to all those who participated in any way to make this day such a success," Brandi Hurst said. "I never dreamed the support would be so great, especially just starting to get our non-profit organization in the community. I am grateful for the response."

Another upcoming event is the Adams Garden Tour on Labor Day Weekend. They are teaming up with Baby Basics for this tour and admission is a package of diapers. The tour is Sunday, Sept. 4, from 1-4 p.m. and Monday, Sept. 5, from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

"We are so excited about this fundraiser and hope to see everyone at the tour," Hurst said.
