A special ribbon cutting was held Wednesday, Aug. 10, at Wear the Style Is in Caraway.
Mayor Barry Riley presided over the ceremony and welcomed the Kelems to the Caraway business community.
"We are always pleased to have new businesses open," Riley said. "There seems to be a great interest in stores like this, and I want to encourage people to drop by and see what they have to offer."
"We will sell new and used items of every variety," Glenda Kelems said. "This is our first business, and we are excited about offering something different for our customers at a reasonable price. We have clothing, jewelry, purses, and a wide variety of household goods. We are also set up to allow people to make their own tee shirts. We hope to hold drawings every week, from $1 donations made here at the store. We will also have gift baskets and a 30-day layaway plan for merchandise."
The store will be open from 9:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. For more information call 870-273-5906 or 870-530-5641.
