James Oscar Myres, 44 of Rector, Arkansas, died Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at the Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. Born Dec. 30, 1966, in Piggott, Arkansas, he was the son of Mr. James and Dorothy White Myres and had been a longtime area resident. Mr. Myres was employed by Roy Owens Construction Company, who valued him as an excellent employee.
Mr. Myres enjoyed spending time and taking care of his family.
Survivors include his wife Mrs. Peggy Myres of the home; his son, Thomas James Myres of the home; three daughters, Heather Myres of the home, Emily Nottingham of St. Francis, Ark., and Stephanie Golden of Piggott, Ark.; two brothers, Jackie Myres of Rector, Ark., and Jim Myres of Cedarville, Ark.; two sisters, Sarah Runyan and Marilyn Frazier both of Piggott, Ark.; his mother: Mrs. Dorothy White of Piggott, Arkansas. Mr. Myres also leaves four grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Mr. Myres was preceded in death by his father James Myres.
Visitation was held from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, June 20, at the Faith Funeral Service Chapel in Manila. The family has requested a private burial and disposition.
