Nana & Papaws Snoball open for business

Nana and Papaw (Judy and Noah "Bubba" Shelton) opened their new business, Nana & PaPaws Snoballs, across from the Manila High School gymnasium at 335 East Olympia.

The family business is open from noon until every day offering a large variety of snoballs including Lions Roar and Cotton Candy. The Barbie Flavor has been very popular.

Noah said his aunt and uncle have been in business for 30 years in Knoxville, Ark.

"They encouraged me and helped me get started," Noah said.

Four sizes and over a hundred flavors are offered. They will also serve a sugar free snoball.

Mrs. Shelton is a teacher at Manila Elementary School. She and their daughters, Keisha and Katherine, plan to join in and help in the business, along with Katherine's daughters.

There is a picnic table and shade for anyone who wants to sit and enjoy their treat.

Noah is also working on mobile snoballs and he plans to set up at carnivals and festivals.

The family invites everyone to come and try out new flavors.
