"Taylor brings a versatility to our program that will help in a couple of ways," Coach McFadden said. "He is a strong defender at the shortstop position. That probably is where he is the strongest. He will also help us on the mound. He finished with a 6-3 record for the Lions. We lost our number 1 and 2 starters and will need help from our freshman class."
Taylor said he is looking forward to playing college ball at CRC.
"I liked the program and the coach at CRA," Taylor said.
Taylor has played basketball and baseball throughout his high school years. Basketball is his favorite sport. He was All District his senior year and received the Silver Slugger, ERA, and Most wins and Stolen Base Award at this year's athletic banquet.
