The Buffalo Island Classic Cruisers hosted the annual car show on April 30 in Caraway showing a variety of old, new, and unique cars and trucks. This year marked the 19th annual car show hosted by the Buffalo Island group.

Special awards were presented for best paint, engine, interior, and awards for best of show in modified cars, original cars, trucks and motorcycles.

"We appreciate everyone who participates in the annual event," Kay Staggs, vice president, said. "We were a little down in numbers this year because some of our regulars could not be here because of flooding in their areas."

The club had a silent auction and concession for the day as visitors viewed the vehicles on display.

Winners were Best of Show, pre-1970, Roger Barnhill, 1932 Ford; Best of Show, 1970-up Roger Bullock, a 2006 Corvette; Best of Show truck, Bud Hufford, 1951 GMC; Largest Club represented, Crowley Ridge Cruiser; Longest distance, Norman Collins of Piggott.
