Rebel senior Cody Stallings begins his wind up in 2A-3 District Tournament action Thursday afternoon at Williams Baptist College in Walnut Ridge. Riverside was defeated by East Poinsett County 13-3.

The two teams had split during the regular season, but it was all Warriors on this day, led by Brady Jones who went 3-4 with three RBIs and three runs scored.
Austin Price also had three hits with an RBI while Hunter Hinton and Caleb Harston had two hits and two RBIs apiece. Freshman McKenzie Betts (6-3) picked up the win, allowing seven hits and three runs over 5 1/3 innings of work. Betts struck out nine while issuing only walk.
Riverside, who finishes the year with a 7-14 mark, got a two-run homer from losing pitcher Logan Meurer. Garrett George went 2-3 and drove in Riverside's other run on the day.
