Mrs. Margie Evelyn Hudson, 84, of Paragould died Monday, April 11, 2011, at her home. Mrs. Hudson was born Dec. 12, 1926, in Caruthersville, Mo., to the late Robert and Lily Queen Hudson. She was of the Pentecostal faith, a long time resident of Keiser, enjoyed watching soap operas, cooking, collecting angels and dolls, and spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include four sons, Robert Hudson and wife Shirley of Paragould, Jackie Hudson and wife Frances of Keiser, Jerry Hudson and wife Becky of Keiser, and Donald Hudson and wife Ann of Drummonds, Tenn.; one daughter Glenda Cox and husband Jimmy of Leachville; three brothers, James Boyd and Kenneth Boyd, both of the Philippines, and Bill Boyd of St. Louis, Mo.; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Mrs. Hudson was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Hudson; a brother, Billy Boyd; a sister, Marie McCollum.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 Thursday, April 14, at the Christian Life Center in Brookland, with the Rev. Scott Trayler officiating. A committal service was held at 2 p.m. at Dogwood Cemetery, Blytheville.

The family received visitors at the church from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday.

Faith Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
