BIC West supports St. Jude

BIC West Elementary fourth and sixth grade boys basketball teams and fourth grade cheerleaders have supported St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House this year.

In all, a total of over $9,000 was donated to these worthy causes through the efforts of the teams in hosting an elementary basketball tournament, drawings for donated items, candle, t-shirt, and tamale sales.

To honor their efforts and as a way of saying "thanks," the teams were invited to play at the Memphis FedEx Forum as a pre-game opener on February 15.

The teams stayed to watch the Memphis Grizzlies play later that evening.
