Riverside Jr. High Quiz Bowl team wins third place in state

They played six games and were only defeated once.

Quiz bowl team members are Jacob Jordan-captain, Daniel Willis, Dakota White, Wes Sanders, Kent Hill, Sam Meurer, Grant Mason, and Kollin Stone. Ms. Brenda Hutcheson is the coach and Scott Dunkerson is the judge. Devon Austin and Erin Jordan are scorekeepers.

"It was a long day of competition and the team did very well," Ms. Hutcheson said.

Jacob Jordan was named to the All Tournament Team in Regional and All Tournament Team in State. To qualify for the All Tournament team a student must average five correct answers per game. Jacob had at least 12 correct answers every game.
