Caraway seniors welcomed Walter Stewart

Walter Stewart, case manager with the East Arkansas Area Agency on Aging, was welcomed to the Caraway Senior Citizen Center on Tuesday. He met with senior citizens to discuss Medicare Part D.

He presented helpful information on Medicare Part D and helped participants determine if they were eligible for assistance on paying for the drug plan. He also answered other questions they had.

"We want to share the information on what is out there to help seniors," Stewart said.

East Arkansas Area Agency on Aging covers Clay, Randolph, Lawrence, Greene, Craighead, Mississippi, Poinsett, Cross, Crittenden, St. Francis, Lee and Phillips counties.

The Area Agency on Aging is a private, non-profit corporation with a mission to provide leadership relative to aging issues on behalf of senior citizens in East Arkansas.
