Albert Lee Halpain, 63, of Manila, died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, near Manila. Born Oct. 8, 1947, he was the son of the late Louis and Grace Mullens Halpain and had been a lifelong Manila resident. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was retired from Cook's Exxon in Osceola.

He is survived by his wife, Leona Barger Halpain of Imboden; four daughters, Paula Eubanks of Luxora, Leona Halpain and Tina Frazier, both of St. Genevieve, Mo., and Loretta Pankey of Licking, Mo.; a brother, Frank Halpain of Osceola; a sister, Gladys Halpain of Phoenix, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Tommy Frazier officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive visitors Tuesday from noon until time of service.
