Junior "Sonny" Presley

Mr. Junior "Sonny" Frank Presley, 71, of Manila, died Friday, Dec. 24, 2010, at Manila Nursing Center. Mr. Presley was born Feb. 9, 1939, in Marianna, to the late B.F. and Clara Presley. Mr. Presley was retired from Peerless Trailer Manufacturing after 20 years, enjoyed visiting at the nursing home, working in the yard, fishing, hunting and watching westerns on TV.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Ina Presley; one daughter, Ina Allene McClung and husband Darrell of Lake City; one very special nephew, Dwight Whittenburg of Black Oak; three sisters, Deloris Woodard of Trumann, Shirley Williamson of Marmaduke, and Dorothy James of Mishawaka, Ind., and a host of other family and friends.

Mr. Presley was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Billy Presley, James Presley and Bobby Wayne Presley.

Funeral services were 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 27, at Faith Funeral Service in Manila with Rev. Neil Stevens and Mr. Dwight Whittenburg officiating.

The family received visitors from 10 a.m. - noon Monday, Dec. 27, at Faith Funeral Service.

Pallbearers were Bryan Williamson, Floyd Winstead, Keith Williamson, David Smith, Joe Presley and Walter Williamson.
