On hand for the ceremony were members of the Monette City Beautification Committee and Farmers Market employees. These included Shawn Nance, Barbara Suber, Steve Suber, Brandon Bryant, Brandon Sisco, Debbie Davis, Terri Higginbotham, Linda Qualls, and Contractor Perry Wood.
"Farmers Market was our only full line grocery store, and it burned on May 3 this year," Qualls said. "We have anxiously awaited the rebuilding and opening of this store, and were so pleased to have it back in our business community."
"We are pleased to be back here in Monette also," Hufford said. "We have a variety of old and new employees to take care of our customers. We have added a new deli and a wide variety of fresh and frozen food. We are proud of our new store decor and the added parking space outside."
Regular store hours will be from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week. However, they will close at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve and be closed all day on Christmas.
