The Monette Christmas Parade was held Monday, Dec. 6. Kay Staggs, parade chairman, said it was one of the best parades in her 15 years of being chairman.

Santa and his friends arrived in Monette on a beautiful float made especially for him.

The American Legion led the parade presenting the flags followed by the Buffalo Island 4-H group carrying the parade banner.

Grand marshal was Larry Rolland. Mayor Chub Qualls participated in the parade riding a motorcycle.
