Buffalo Island Central suffered a pair of 2A-3 conference road losses last week, as the Mustangs fell 73-49 to East Poinsett County before dropping a 64-52 decision at Marmaduke.
Jammar Sturdivant pumped in 23 points while Jori Ford and A.J. Turner pitched in 12 points apiece to lead the Warriors over the Mustangs Tuesday night at Lepanto. EPC held a 21-6 lead after one quarter and held a commanding 43-16 lead at the half. The Warriors took a 58-34 lead into the fourth quarter.
Wes Colbert and Jeremy Smith scored nine points apiece to lead a balanced BIC scoring attack. Logan Dewitt tallied eight, Ben Cole netted seven while Daniel Davis and James Tate pitched in six points apiece. Drey Crabtree added four points for the Mustangs.
Kasey Reagans and Morgan Hawley led a second half rally to lead the Greyhounds to a 12 point victory over the Mustangs Friday night. Reagans scored 15 of his game high 18 points while Hawley added 12 of his 17 points in the second half. Zac McDowell scored 16 more for Marmaduke, who hit 17-23 free throws. The Greyhounds improved to 6-9 overall and 4-2 in league play.
Jeremy Smith and James Tate led BIC with 16 and 10 points respectively.
BIC dropped a 59-34 decision to EPC in junior high action before coming back for a
40-27 win over Marmaduke Friday night.
Nick Bollinger led BIC with 13 points in Tuesday night's loss at EPC. Austin Pike scored eight, Drake Brown tallied four, Erik Navarro netted three while Jacob Sanders, Johnathan Mondragon and Tyler Myers added two points apiece.

BIC will return to action Tuesday night hosting Marked Tree in 2A-3 conference play at the Mustang Athletic Complex. BIC will conclude the week Friday night, traveling to Paragould to take on Crowley's Ridge Academy in another conference matchup.
