Monette Masons receive awards

Monette Masonic Lodge #558 presented Larry Bibb with the Pillars of Solomon Award during the annual awards program and dinner on Tuesday, Nov. 30.

The Pillars of Solomon Award was established by the Grand Lodge of Arkansas to provide recognition to Master Masons for outstanding service to their lodges. Bibb was recognized for contributing to the success and well being of the Monette lodge and has given service over an extended period of time.

Others present for the special ceremony were Bibb's wife Jackie, his daughter Tracy Stearns, her husband Jim Stearns, granddaughter Kirsten Grimes, and brothers and their wives, Sammy and Norma Bibb and Don and Alice Bibb.

Worshipful Master Clyde Watson presented Bibb with the Pillars of Solomon Award, assisted by past Arkansas Grand Master Johnny Hedge.

Other lodge officers include Tom Carroll, Senior Warden; Bear Harrell, Junior Warden; Robin Ashley, Treasurer; Larry Bibb, Secretary; Bill Hetler, Senior Deacon; Tommy Dunigan, Junior Deacon; Gene Gathright, Chaplin; Jim Fraser-Tyler; M.C. Danels and Eddie Dunigan, master of ceremonies.
