Wanda Carroll takes the Super Senior Trophy

Wanda Carroll of Jonesboro, formerly of Black Oak, won the Super Senior Trophy at the WSGA Senior Amateur Tournament held at the Texarkana Country Club Oct. 26-28.

There were 108 women in the tournament.

Carroll, formerly a Manila Lady Lion basketball coach, spends a lot of her retirement time golfing.

Her hole-in-one during the practice round seemed to be an omen for a good week for the 76 year old golfer.
