Ada Farris Slaton, 87, of Manila died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, R.A. "Art" Slaton; sister in law, Evon Slaton Prewett; nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, K.V. and Violet Sanders, and brother, K.V. Sanders, Jr.

The family received friends from 2-3 p.m. Monday, followed by a funeral service at 3 p.m. at Roller-Swift Chapel in Osceola.

Pallbearers were nephews and friends.
