Buffalo Island Central traveled to the Sugar Creek Country Club at Piggott Thursday, Sept. 2, for a dual match with the host Mohawks.Piggott came away with a 13 shot victory, carding a 117 score.

The Mustangs, who shot a team score of 130, were led by Nathan Whitlow's 41. Alex Field fired a 44 while Brent Ray shot a 45.

Lady Mustangs Sarah and Lauren Roddy both fired 46's to claim co-medalist honors in the girls division.

In a battle of rivals, BIC downed Riverside at the Big Lake Country Club last Tuesday, 104-171.

Mustang Nathan Whitlow claimed medalist honors, firing a four under par 32. Alex Field shot a two under 34 while Brent Ray came home with a two over 38.

Lathe Lunsford led the Rebels, shooting a 49, while Michael Mann and Adam Casey both shot 61's.

The Lady Mustangs fired a team score 123, led by medalist Sarah Roddy, who topped all golfers with a 39. Twin Lauren Roddy was one shot back, shooting a four over par 40. Rachel Simmons fired a 44 for BIC.

The Mustangs will return to action on Tuesday at the Big Lake Country Club in Manila. BIC opponents will be Riverside and Weiner.
