Manila continued their winning ways on the golf course with a pair of victories last week.

The Lions fired a team score 123 to take a 26 shot victory over host Gosnell at the Thunder Bayou Golf Course on Monday. The Pirates finished with a score of 149 while Westside brought up the rear with a 172 score.

The Lions were led by J.J. Helton and Garrett Scott, who both claimed medalist honors with scores of 40. Tracey Reinhart fired a 43 while Blake Carr shot a 49.

Mikayla Shedd shot a 59 for the Lady Lions.

Manila hosted Hoxie and Marmaduke Tuesday afternoon at the Big Lake Country Club. The Lions fired a team score of 110, which was 55 shots better than runner-up Hoxie's 165 score. Marmaduke was another 19 shots back with a score of 184.

J.J. Helton took medalist honors, firing a two under par 34 on the day. Garrett Scott and Blake Carr both shot two over par 38's while Tracey Reinhart finished with a score of 44.

Mikayla Shedd shot a 55 for the Lady Lions.

Manila will return to the links Monday afternoon at the Riverlawn Country Club in Osceola before coming home Tuesday afternoon to Big Lake Country Club.

Buffalo Island Central took on Nettleton at Sage Meadows Golf Course in Jonesboro on Monday afternoon, with the Raiders picking up a 121-136 victory over the Mustangs in boys action.

BIC was led by Alex Field, who fired a 42. Forrest Robertson shot a 46 while Drake Brown finished with a score of 48.

Nettleton edged the Lady Mustangs 162 to 163 in girls action. Lauren Roddy took home medalist honors, firing a 47 to lead BIC. Brittany Stockton shot a 52 while Shania Junior finished with a 64.

The Mustangs were scheduled to play at the Links in Jonesboro on Tuesday, but saw their match get rained out.

BIC will return to action this Tuesday at the Links Golf Course in a tri-match against Walnut Ridge and Marmaduke.
