A Mission Team from Manila First Baptist Church recently returned from Friend, Nebraska, where they spent a week holding Vacation Bible School, working around the church, and door to door ministry.

The Vacation Bible School was attended by 30 kids each day. The group painted the porch of the pastor's house, did electric work around the church, and hosted a block party.
"Throughout all the ministry work we shared the love of Christ with everyone we met," Youth minister Josh House said. "By the end of the week we had two conversions through the Vacation Bible School."
Jared Russell, outreach and missions minister, said they had a good response.
A mission trip to Pine Bluff is scheduled for September and four from Manila will be joining a mission trip to Africa in October.
"Our mission work is home and global," Russell said.
