First bloom

Jax Gist, four month old son of Aaron and Whitney Gist, is proud to have the first cotton bloom reported to the Town Crier. The cotton blooms were found on his Grandpa Tommy and Uncle Robbie Veach's farm at Lost Cane, on June 18. The Stoneville 4554 was planted on April 17. (Town Crier photo/Yvonne Hernandez)
