Marmaduke slipped past Riverside 15-14 in 2A-3 softball action Thursday afternoon at Lake City.
Courtney Southerland, Tori Benoit and Rachel Vangilder all had two hits apiece for the Lady Greyhounds, who improved to 11-10 and 3-5 in conference play.
Amber Fletcher went 2-4 at the plate and drove in three runs while Becca Frayer went 3-4 at the plate and scored three times for the Lady Rebels. Senior Michelle Cobb also had a pair of hits with an RBI and three runs scored.
Riverside returns to action Monday afternoon when they journey to Marked Tree to face the Lady Indians. The Lady Rebels close the week with a trip to Trumann to take on the Lady Wildcats.
