Manila sisters Kimberly and Kristen Wise both fired shutouts to help lead the Lady Lions to a twin-bill sweep over Piggott Tuesday afternoon at Manila. The Lady Lions won the opener 15-0 before pounding out a 26-0 whitewash in the nightcap.
Kimberly Wise picked up the win in the opener for Manila before younger sister Kristen won the nightcap for the Lady Lions. Kimberly Wise fanned four in the opener while Kristen Wise followed with three scoreless innings in game two.

In the second game, Kristen Wise backed up her strong pitching effort with a home run and four RBIs. The freshman right-hander had three hits on the afternoon. Kristen Painter and Brooke Hill had two hits and two RBIs apiece.
Manila's boys split a pair of games, defeating Piggott 4-3 Monday afternoon on the road before dropping a 13-1 decision to Westside Thursday afternoon at home.
