Manila senior Lady Lion Kimberly Wise signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Williams Baptist College on Wednesday, March 17, at the Manila High School auditorium. Attending the ceremony were family members, friends, fellow students, and teachers.

Williams Baptist Coach Carol Halford and assistant coach Mike Chipman came to Manila for the ceremony. They welcomed Kimberly to Williams.
"We are pleased to have a player of her caliber," Coach Halford said. "She will fit in well at Williams."

Kimberly moved up to the senior high team her freshman year and finished with 2084 career points. In addition to being a three time All State Player in basketball she was named all state in softball for two years.
Wise averaged 19.6 points a game. In her final five games at MHS she averaged 33.4 points a game.
Lady Lion Kimberly Wise was recognized by Principal Pam Chipman during an assembly on Monday, March 15, Kimberly was presented with a plaque in recognition of her outstanding basketball career at Manila High School. Kimberly hit the 2,000 point mark on Feb. 18. She finished her high school career with 2,084 points. Pictured with Kimberly are Mrs. Chipman and Coach Jeff Priest.
"She's just an all around great athlete," Coach Priest said. "It has been a joy to coach here for the last three years. She is not only a great athlete, she is a great kid. She's raised the bar high for the kids in my program."
Kimberly said she is excited about the opportunity to take her basketball to the college level.
"It is something I have always wanted to do," Kimberly said.
WBC Coach Halford has more than 400 victories with the Lady Eagles.
Kimberly is the daughter of Junior and Sandy Wise.
