Edna Barcom, 90, formerly of Manila, died Feb. 21, 2010, in Payson, Ariz. She was born in Parma, Mo., on Jan. 6, 1920. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis E. Barcom and daughter Linda Kay Barcom.
She is survived by her husband Bernard Locke and six children, Charles Barcom of Blytheville, Bonnie Powers and husband Benny of Searcy, Gary Barcom and wife Linda of Payson, Ariz., Roxie Hyde and husband Terry of Memphis, Tenn., Carol Galbraith and husband David of Chandler, Ariz.; and Gayla Smith and husband Jimmy of Chandler, Ariz.; 18 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at Payson Church of Christ, 401 Each Tyler Parkway, Payson, Ariz. 85541. Services were under the direction of Messinger Payson Funeral Home, 302 West Aero Drive, Payson, Ariz.
Lunch was served at the church fellowship hall.
A graveside service was held at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Valley of the Sun Mortuary and Cemetery, 10940 East Chandler Heights Road, Chandler, Ariz.
