Riverside trounced Cross County 60-32 in 2A-3 conference action Tuesday night at Cherry Valley.
Josh Anderson led the Rebels with 16 points while Jake Love scored 14 and Cole Winford chipped in 10.
The Rebels led 13-3 after the first period and stretched their margin to 35-21 at the half. Riverside took a 53-27 advantage into the final frame.
Dewayne Schrader scored five points, M.J. Brewer tallied four, James Boness netted three while Bryan Poe, Tyler Rolland, Cody Stallings and Mitchell Staggs added two points apiece.
In junior high action, Riverside crushed the Thunderbirds 47-19. The Rebels outscored Cross County 23-0 in the first quarter and held a 39-7 lead at the half. Riverside took a 41-11 lead into the fourth quarter.
Riverside placed nine players in the scoring column, led by Braden Peaster, Ben Hensley, and Brock Adams, who all scored eight points apiece. Logan Meurer and Jake Spencer pitched in six points, Alteeno Sain netted five while Rustin Peaster, Logan Moyer and Cody Wells added two points apiece.
