Gadoy Lee Shrable, Jr., 69, of Manila, died Friday, Jan. 8, 2010, at his home. Born near Manila, he was the son of the late Lee and Ruth Stark Shrable, a 1957 graduate of Manila High School, and a lifelong area resident. He was a master cabinet builder and the former owner of Shrable's Cabinet Shop. Mr. Shrable was a devout Christian and a longtime member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in Manila.

Survivors include his wife, Clee Ellen Burrow Shrable of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tracy and Verna Shrable of Bono and Jerry and Veda Shrable of Manila; a daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Jimmy Brown of Jonesboro; a brother, Jack Shrable of Manila; a sister, Nancy Bolt of Manila; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Rudy Burrow officiating. Burial was in Manila Cemetery. Pallbearers were Tran Burrow, Joel Burrow, Chad Costner, Jeff Costner, Keith Shrable and Ryan Shrable.

The family received visitors Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
