Mary Catherine Springston

Mary Catherine Springston, 84, of Leachville, died Friday, Nov. 13, 2009 from injuries received in an automobile accident near Leachville. Born at Pittsburgh, Penn., she had lived most of her life in Ohio and was a retired custodian. She had been a Leachville resident for the past five years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Springston, and three children, Barbara, Daniel, and Keith Springston.

She is survived by two sons, Bill Springston of Cardwell, Mo., and Rick Springston of Little Rock; a daughter, Cathie Stuhldreher of Mesa, Ariz.; a brother, Buddy Bailey of Miami, Fla.; 27 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

The funeral was 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Leachville with Rev. Mark Wheeler officiating. The family received visitors Wednesday from noon until service time at the funeral home. Burial was private. To sign the guest register log on to www.howardfuneralservice.com.
