After operating in Manila for 85 years, Barton's is consolidating the sales territory that includes the city with that of the Osceola store.

The consolidation was effective Friday, Nov. 6, according to Vice President of Operations Kevin Pierce, and is being performed to continue delivering quality building materials at affordable prices.

"We're definitely going to continue servicing our customers in Manila," Pierce said. "Barton's of Osceola is only 20 miles away."

Job site deliveries will be made from the Osceola location, and customers will still be able to see familiar faces at the Osceola store. Don Orr, who managed the Manila operation, will assume the role of store manager at the Osceola store. Bob Walker and Mike Hudgens are also making the move to Osceola, to continue providing service to customers in the Manila area.
