Halloween costumes of every variety added merriment to the all-day party and festivities. Mary Slack of Lepanto and James May of Trumann were named best dressed female and male winners.
Board games were played throughout the day as senior citizens visited and got reacquainted with each other. Host Director Cleffie Gipson and Gene Brown provided musical entertainment.
A full picnic style meal was provided with desserts and a 20' long banana split. Ninth grade Family and Consumer Science students from Riverside Junior High, with their teacher Tracey Haas, served meals to those in attendance.
Drawings were held for prizes following the ice-cream party.
Site Managers in attendance included Dedra Robertson, Lepanto; Cindy Marshall, Trumann; Donna Horsley, Harrisburg; Nelroy Wright, Monette; Brenda Mile, and host Cleffie Gipson, along with Activity Coordinator Allison Winters for Trumann and Harrisburg and the Director of St. Bernards Senior Life Centers, Becky McDaniel-Ewart, of Jonesboro.
