Brad Erney to run for State Representative District 76

Brad Erney of Jonesboro is running for State Representative District 76. He is a small business owner and a friend to the farmer, he said. His grandfather was a lifelong cotton farmer in Northeast Arkansas. Erney is a dentist in Jonesboro.

Erney believes in a fiscally responsible government and is a supporter of gun owner rights. "If elected I will do everything possible to create affordable health insurance premiums for school teachers," Erney said. He also said he would work hard to expand the scope of Medicaid coverage for the residents of Arkansas.

"The ideas and voices of all residents in this district are very important to me. I hope to make it very clear I want to hear and know all points of view," he said.

Ernie noted representing the people of District 76 will require attention to potential economic development opportunities. Exploring potential employment opportunities for district residents is an important dimension of this position.
