Over 800 people have visited the museum since the May 30 grand opening with public hours of three afternoons each week. Exhibits include areas of mercantile, home life, medical, agriculture, school memorabilia and a reference room to research Buffalo Island history beginning in the late 1800s. The museum is located at 207 W. Drew Street, Monette, at the intersection of Highways 18 and 139.
