Pearson has worked at the bank for 22 years and called it a pleasure to work her the people.
Sherri Coffman, vice president business development and marketing, said she will be missed.
"She has been a great employee and we wish her the best of luck in her retirement," Coffman said.
She received a telephone call during the reception from her young great-grandson who could not be there but wanted to express his congratulations to "MeeMaw."
Steve May, Heritage Bank president/CEO, was on hand to wish her well.
"We have worked together for over 17 years and it has been a pleasure to work with her," May said. "She has been a constant with our bank and held our crew together delivering excellent service to our customers. We will miss her and wish her well. I hope she enjoys herself and her family."
She had a chance to reminisce about her early days at the bank with co-workers who were there when she started including Debbie Taylor, Lesia Couch, Debbie Austin and Gundel Martin.
"It has been a wonderful place to work and I will miss everyone," Pearson said.
