Demolition work on Manila Elementary buildings began Thursday. The round buildings were built in the early 1960s.

Goolsby's of Blytheville received the contract for the removal of the buildings. The work should be done in 10 days making room for new construction. (Town Crier photo/Revis Blaylock)
