Jimmy Roush, 54, of Trumann, died on Thursday, April 30, 2009, at his residence. Mr. Roush was born in Paragould, to the late Harvey Roush and Virble (Spencer). He was a lifelong resident of Trumann and Lake City area and of the Baptist faith. He was retired from the Singer Plant in Trumann, farmed, an avid Nascar fan, very well known in the community and a very giving person.

Survivors include a daughter, Rhonda Roush of Jonesboro; two brothers, Robby and wife Linda Roush of Huntington, Richard Roush of Jonesboro; four sisters, Peggy and husband James Lisk of Lake City, Brenda Houston of Jonesboro, Linda Russell of Bay, Violet and husband Harvey Burlison of Paragould; a granddaughter and a host of nephews, nieces and other family and friends.

Mr. Roush was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters, Diane Roush, Mary Roush and Patricia Cambron.

A memorial service was held at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 2, at the home of Mary Wheeley, 1710 Hibiscus, Jonesboro, with Rev. Joe McMaster officiating. Interment was in Pine Log Cemetery, at Brookland under the direction of Faith Funeral Service of Manila.
