Paul D. Cude, 76, of O'Fallon, Mo., formerly of Leachville, died Monday, April 20, 2009, at his home. Born in Leachville, he was the son of Melvin and Maggie Cude and had been a longtime resident of O'Fallon, Mo. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War, was a member of the O'Fallon Church of Christ and a retiree of McDonnell Douglas after 34 years of service. He was a classic car enthusiast, dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Modell Cude, Harold Cude and Bill Cude.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Betty Cude of the home; his daughter, Theresa Daly, and her husband, Darren; and his beloved granddaughter, Alexis Lee Daly. He also leaves two sisters-in-law, Mary Cude and Bernice Cude.
A graveside funeral service with military honors was held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Leachville Cemetery. Burial was under the direction of Howard Funeral Service.
