Delegates toured the White House and the city of Washington during their visit. Receptions were held to meet with U.S. Congressman Marion Berry, as well as Arkansas Senators Blanch Lincoln and Mark Pryor. Luncheons and receptions were coordinated to allow participants to interact with the Arkansas Congressional Delegations and their staffs and discuss area concerns.
"This gave us time to get acquainted with the people who have done so much to help us on all levels of government," Riley said. "We were given time with our elected officials and their staffs to express our individual problems areas, and where we could get help in solving situations."
