Harold D. Earnhart, 72, of Frostproof, Fla., died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, at his home. Born March 11, 1936, in Black Oak, he moved to Florida in 1964. He was a graduate of Monette High School and Arkansas State University. He worked in the Food and Drug Division for the Department of Agriculture. He taught Sunday School and became a Deacon.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Jimmie Carolyn Earnhart; a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Greg Edwards of Frostproof; a son and daughter-in-law, Thomas Michael and Susan Earnhart of Jacksonville; two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Matthew Earnhart; a sister, Pauline Jones of Black Oak; brother-in-law, Loran F. Barnes of Powhatan; and a sister-in-law, Irene Earnhart of Black Oak.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph, Paul and Junior; a sister, Christeen Cobb; and a child, Janis C. Earnhart.
A private memorial service for family will be held at a later date.
