Ophelia Kay Garner, 53, of Jonesboro died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Manila and lived in Jonesboro for 13 years, moving from Manila. She was a homemaker and of the Assembly of God belief.

She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Newton Duckworth, mother, Mamie Letha Groover Duckworth, and a brother.

She is survived by her husband, Danny Garner of the home; three daughters, Vicki Gamble, and husband Michael of Manila, Amy Keller, and husband Chad of Ozark, and Christie Eubanks, of Ozark; two step-daughters, Adrian Garner of Jonesboro and Cindy Garner of Las Vegas, Nev., two sisters, Mary Sue Braswell and Judy Frazier, both of Monette.; nine grandchildren, Jadyn Moore, Jordan Moore, Isaiah Wilde, Abby Gamble, Lindsey Gamble, Hannah Gamble, Justin Roach, Emerald Roach and Michael Roach.; and a great-grandchild, Gunner James.

Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday at Emerson Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Bill Warren officiating. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery, with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Active pallbearers were Michael Gamble, Chad Keller, Brian Gilmer, Anthony Garner, Danny West and Jody Garner. Honorary pallbearer was Russell Hampton.
