Ellen Cloud, 93, of Lake City, died Monday, Nov. 17, 2008, at Lakeside Nursing Center in Lake City. Born in Egypt, Mrs. Cloud lived most of her life in Lake City. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Lake City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, W.C. and Maggie Cates Webb; by her first husband, Joe Bob Fisher; by her second husband, Ralph Cloud; by a son, Billy Joe Fisher; by three sisters, Bessie Phillips, Nellie Guinn and Birtie Hall; and by two brothers, Tommy Webb and Richard Webb.

Survivors include five sons, Jim Fisher and Jerry Fisher, both of Lake City, and Shelby Fisher of Franklin, Ind., Carroll Fisher of Centreville, Mich., and Bobby Fisher of Lubbock, Texas; two daughters, Geraldine Shaffner of LeRoy, Ill., and Jean Lowrey of Monette; 23 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 29 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Lake City with Pastor Sean Milliken officiating. Burial was in Lake City Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge of arrangements.

Grandsons and great-grandsons served as pallbearers.
