The Buffalo Island Central Junior Homecoming was held Friday, Nov. 7, with Demi Hargrove crowned 2008-09 Homecoming Queen. Demi was escorted by James Tate. Ninth grade runners-up Princesses were Chasity Garrett, escorted by Dillon Hargrove, and Lindsey Pittman, escorted by Mark Stone.

Other members of the homecoming court included eighth grade Princeses, Cassidy Qualls, escorted by Weslan Colbert, Brittany Fowler, escorted by Nick Bollinger, Jodiee Clay, escorted by Zac Chase, and Jillian Key, escorted by Drake Brown. Seventh grade Princesses were Briana Brock, escorted by Shaun Scoggins, Courtney Garrett, escorted by Jacob Sanders, and Heather Palacios, escorted by Lance McMinn.

Sydney Wildy was the flower girl and H.D. Sanders the ball carrier.

Clay Turner and Amber Rolland served as master and mistress of ceremonies.

This year's theme was "Spark of the Night."
