Thomas Edward Bowers, 50, of Blytheville, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2008. Born March 25, 1958, in Osceola to Howard E. Bowers and the late Dorothy Viola Baldwin Bowers, he was of the Baptist faith and worked in maintenance for Multiserve, a contractor for Nucor.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Mary Hinson.
Mr. Bowers is survived by his wife, Rosemary Bowers of Blytheville; two sons, James Paul Roach and Daniel Dewayne Roach of Blytheville; two daughters, Carla Jo Bowers and Tina Marie Lawson of Blytheville; his father, Howard E. Bowers of Monette; five grandchildren, Thomas Matthew Bowers, Courtney Danielle Roach, Elizabeth Brooke Roach, Halle Marie Lawson and Ashley Lynn Roach; four sisters, Terry Bowers and Lisa Geo of Gosenll, Karen Taylor of Monette and Teresa Burnett of Louisville, Texas; and two sisters-in-law, Jeanett Land and Adale Aultman of Blytheville.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday at Roller Swift Funeral Home with Brother Robbie Cox officiating. Burial was in Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette.
