Jeffers to celebrate 50 years

Donald and Demetra Jeffers of Caraway will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Oct. 11. The couple will be honored with a reception party in the fellowship hall of the First Baptist Church in Caraway from 2-4 p.m.

Donald Jeffers and the former Demetra Sanders were married on Oct. 11, 1958, at the Rowes Chapel Church by T.B. Smith.

Mr. and Mrs. Jeffers have three children, eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

All friends and family are welcome to attend. There will be no invitations sent.

The couple has requested no gifts.
