Maryellen Reynolds, 58, of Pahokee, Fla., died Friday, Oct. 3, 2008, at Glades General in Belle Glade, Fla. Born at Vasser, Mich., she was the daughter of the late William and Gertrude Clarke Scott, and had been a longtime resident of Florida. She was a retired bus driver from the Palm Beach County School District and a member of the First Methodist Church in Canal Point, Fla.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Diane Reynolds; two brothers, Dewey William Scott and Ricky Scott.

Survivors include her longtime companion, Clarence Wilson, of Pahokee, Fla.; four sons, James Reynolds, Jr., William Reynolds, Tommy Wilson, all of Manila, and Alvin Wilson of Macon, Ga.; five daughters, Helen Winstead of Manila, Nancy McAllister of Canal Point, Fla., Bonnelou Crutchfield of South Carolina, Joycee Patterson of Manila, and Faye Wilson of Macon, Ga.; two brothers, Stephen Scott and George Scott, both of Columbia, Mo.; two sisters, Dove Sandage of Milburg, Mich., and Phyliss Simpson of Milan, Tenn.; and a grandson, Scott Childress.

The funeral was 11 a.m. Oct. 7 at the Howard Funeral Chapel in Manila with burial following in the Manila Cemetery.
