The Buffalo Island Central School Board met Monday, Aug. 18, accepting resignations and hiring new personnel.
Resignations were accepted from Stephanie Rowe, choral music; Alesha Morgan, resource/home economics; and Theresa Stout, school nurse.
The board unanimously voted to hire Kylie Wickerham for Resource/Home Economics and Jerry Bell as music teacher.
The board voted to set pre-kindergarten tuition rates at $60 for children of school employees and $75 for paying parents.
Student transfers included Michael Beaird, 16, from Gosnell to BIC; Jeremy Sims, 13, to Manila; and Mahtia Puckett, 7, and Jonas Puckett, 11, to Manila.
The Board also reviewed the financial statements and warrant listings.
