Vera Mae Luff, 84, of Caraway died at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2008. She was born in Cherry Valley to Robert and Minnie Duke. She was a homemaker and of Baptist belief.
She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Virgil and Barbara Luff, Howard and Elaine Luff, Gary and Linda Luff, all of Caraway, and Kenneth and Sharon Luff of Jonesboro; a daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Gary Endicott of Milligan Ridge; four sisters, Geneva Parks of Wyandotte, Mich., Clara Luff of Caraway, Pauline Brown of Bono, and Eudean Reeves of Monticello, Ky.; a brother, Bobby Duke of Riverview, Mich.; seven grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ellen Stevens.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday with Rev. Rick Stevens officiating. Langford-Bookout Funeral Home of Jonesboro assisted the family with arrangements.
No visitation was held.
