World Series bound

NEA Storm, a 9 year old USSSA baseball team from Lake City, Caraway and Monette, placed first in the East Arkansas Spring Premiere NIT Tornament in Marion, which also earned them a World Series berth. They are ranked the number 2 team in the state for their age group and the 19th team in the nation. NEA Storm also placed first in the Black River Shootout in Pocahontas and first in the NEA Schools Out Blast in Paragould. NEA Storm will be leaving on July 19 to play in the World Series in St. Louis, Mo., scheduled for July 20-27.
