Darrell Edward Lynn

Darrell Edward Lynn, 57, of Paragould, formerly of Memphis, died Wednesday, June 18, 2008, at his home. Born at Manila, he had been a longtime Memphis resident before moving to Paragould in 2005. He had worked as an ironworker and was a member of the Ironworkers Local Union #167. He was a member of the Professional Disc Golf Association and was instrumental in implementing the disc golf course at Shelby Forest State Park in Memphis. He was inducted into the Disc Golf Hall of Fame in 1994 and served as the administrator of the PDGA from 1986 to 1993.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Cora Lee Lynn and Henry and Izora Wright.

He is survived by his parents, Thomas and Carlean Lynn of Paragould; a brother, Bruce Lynn, and his wife Taryn of Greeville, Texas; three sisters; Connie Whitman of Paragould,Teresa Kelly of Little Rock and Carla Craig and her husband Carl of Cookeville, Tenn.; seven nephews; six nieces; a great-niece and a great-nephew.

Graveside services were 2 p.m. June 23 at the Manila Cemetery under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila.
